We believe that church planting is at the very heart of God. It is all over the book of Acts and has been the surest way to continue the life of the church from generation to generation. Every church at some point in its history was a church plant. At the same time we believe if we are to see a movement of God, we need to see multiplication happen at every level. The church will multiply if we do what God has commanded us. The bible says (Jesus speaking) I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
PASS IT ON
Our work on earth is to fulfil the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20) to go and make disciples and as 2 Timothy 2:2 says You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. It is a multiplication strategy that Jesus is asking of us.
We make disciples who in turn make disciples, who are themselves disciples. But it is not just multiplication of disciples, we also need to grow leaders who will be leaders who multiply, which in turn plant churches that multiply. For all this to happen we need to sow the seeds of the gospel, so that the gospel itself multiplies.
