THE PROCESS
WHO IS THIS FOR?
A one year practical course open to all who want to become better equipped for leadership in mission and church planting. No prior educational qualifications are required. A reference from a recognised church leader is required.
An advanced second and third year is also available leading to a Diploma in Missional Leadership also endorsed by TQUK.

HOW IS THE COURSE DELIVERED?
The course can be completed in one year on a full-time study basis. It is also available on a part-time basis. It consists of classroom experience – either in a virtual learning environment or face to face, a ministry placement and tutorials for personal development. Study support as well as guided self-study is available.

WHAT IS THE COURSE CONTENT AND STRUCTURE?
There are 6 modules. Each module takes approximately 6 weeks of study with 20 hours of class time during those 6 weeks. There is an optional module for those who wish to prepare specifically for ordination.
WHO TEACHES THE STUDENTS?
The course is supported by a coalition of organisations: Greater Europe Mission (GEM), the Fellowship of Churches of Christ (FCC), FORGE Missional Training and Engage West Midlands. The tutors and facilitators are all experienced church planting practitioners.

THE COST
Each module costs £300 and can be paid weekly, monthly or in advance. (A 6 week module can, for example, be paid at £50.00 per week). The entire 6 module 'Certificate in Missional Leadership' totals £1800.

THE TEAM
SEBASTIEN BRANDT
Course Director
Sebastien is the Course Director for the Engage Missional Training programe.. Born in France, Seb serves as a missionary in Scotland with his wife Jess and their 3 children. He holds a degree in Computer Science, in Practical Ministry and an MA in Theology. Recently, he lecturered in a BA programme at Tilsley College where he also has been their Pastoral Lead.
HIRPO KUMBI
Missional Trainer
Hirpo Kumbi is originally from Ethiopia and came to the UK with the intention of planting churches. Over the last twenty years he has planted churches in the UK and in a number of other European nations. He is an author, especially in relation to mission across cultures. Hirpo is completing a Ph.D at Liverpool Hope University.
DR MARTIN ROBINSON
Training Consultant
Following 12 years working as a clergy person, mostly in inner city Birmingham, he spent 15 years as the Director of Mission and Theology at the Bible Society. Martin was the Principal and CEO of ForMission College. Currently he is the National Moderator of FCC and also part of the Engage West Midlands core team. Martin has written some 16 books on misson in the West and is an acknowledged international speaker, writer & thought leader.
